A whole range of tailored services is developed on the basis of specific requirements of companies and organizations. This may range from advice or referencing over training and concrete problem solving to the organization and guidance of theses and projects with students.

Concrete examples of services:

• use of simulation software: e.g. simulation of thermal phenomena, modelling of the injection moulding process, the extrusion process and the thermoforming process and strength calculations of polymer constructions.

• measuring techniques: material characterisation (impact resistance, tensile strength, E-modulus...), colour and gloss, energy management analysis of a process, determination of solution viscosity of  polymers and recording of the complete stress-strain curve
