The Mechatronics LED is supported by the Electronics-IT division of the Industrial Sciences & Technology Department of KHBO and relies on the division's 4 research laboratories: EP (Enterprise Programming, IT applications, test-driven development (embedded software)), EMAS (Electrical Machines, Drives, Automation and Controls), ECOREA (Electronic Circuit Design and Implementation, Digital & DSP development) and FMEC (Flanders Mechatronics Engineering Centre).
