About this LED
Every organization and executive will fully endorse that a solid personnel management is important. By managing the human resources not only the employees can develop themselves, but the organization can do so as well. In this way the human resources management substantially contributes to the realization of the organization’s set mission, strategy and objectives. The time that staff was regarded as ‘a cost’ is definitely over: it is the people that make the difference with regards to being successful as an entrepreneur.
Sometimes one is not sufficiently aware of this or does not dispose of the required knowledge and experience to deal with staff issues. In that case it is advisable to appeal to an external advisor. Lack of time can also be a reason why the personnel management is not adequately structured.
The LED HRM recognizes the questions/problems of both small as well as big companies and is happy to advise you in a simple and objective way. This LED is a cooperation between two branches of study within Ipsoc, one of the departments of KATHO:
1. Bachelor in Social Work with specialty in Personnel Management
2. Bachelor in Applied Psychology with specialty in Industrial and Organizational Psychology
Together they guarantee a correct harmony between the interests of the organization and the desires of the employees.
